Isla De Manila offers a mixed dining experience with some reviewers praising the flavorful and fresh food while others criticize the high prices and small portions. The restaurant decor and cleanliness were also points of contention, with some diners put off by the dated appearance and lack of cleanliness. However, the friendly service was a consistent highlight for many patrons. Despite some mixed reviews, Isla De Manila seems to offer a taste of authentic Filipino cuisine that is worth a try for those looking for a unique dining experience.

We were visiting Reno from the Bay Area, in early December for a comedy event at the Grand Sierra. My husband (of French descent) was curious about Filipino eateries in the area, thus we stumbled upon Isla De Manila. Upon entrance, we were greeted kindly by an elder lady, and I ended up giving her the nickname of 'Manang Fe ' towards the end of our time there. We ordered a couple of different dishes, my husband-Crispy Sisig, and for myself-Pork Belly, alongside garlic rice. The food as a whole was good, but the portions could be more generous.Overall, we had a pleasant time chatting with 'Manang Fe ', and look forward to coming back to continue our camaraderie and enjoy more food from their menu offerings.

Food wasn't that good. Old traditional Filipino restaurant. If you like Homemade cooking. Then you'll like it but I don't.

The food at this restaurant was delicious and very fresh. However, the prices were quite high for the portion sizes. Spending over $100 for just four items and rice was not worth it. I would consider dining there again, but the cost is too steep.

Over priced plus small portions. Was charged 47.00 for such a tiny portion. Crispy pata. Adobo was charged 42.00 and portion was small there as well. Very disappointed.
