Bon Burger was my one of my fav Regina burgers...but something unfortunate has happened. Rumour has it the truck has new owners, and I'm not sure if that's true, but my most recent burger was awful. My husband was told that they hadn't anticipated the...crowd for Canada Day, so they were out of bacon and the signature pickled cucumbers that I love on the Bombre. Well, I can get over that on this occasion, but EVERYTHING tasted different except the fries. The old Bombre burger had: Cheddar cheese, bacon, crispy fried onions, mayo, Sodbuster BBQ sauce, and Japanese pickled cucumbers. The meat was crumbly and not quite cooked all the way through, the bun seemed larger than before, almost too much for the burger, no crispy onions or bbq sauce, and it just tasted different...not the same flavor. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BOMBRE!!?? If it is new owners PLEASE pay to get the previous recipes or do whatever you have to do to re-create it. Otherwise, I'm sorry, your new burgers just are not up to par. I hate giving crappy reviews, but I haven't been this disappointed with a burger in ages. Please fix!!

Today at the farmers market, I ordered a hotdog and poutine for my toddler and myself to share. Unfortunately, I accidentally dropped the hotdog on the ground as I set it on the top of my stroller. I was disappointed because I didn't have enough money to buy another one, but the woman at the food truck kindly offered to make me a new one for free. I was very grateful for her generosity. The hotdog and poutine were both delicious. Thank you so much for the wonderful meal!
