"We stumbled over rapps cafe while we were on a family trip to saltburn. the staff was very friendly and helpful, and eating was amazing. my daughter described her pasta as the best she had could not be better! also our eating was excellent and the desserts were amazing! good coffee to finish. good value and a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere. highly recommended!"

"First time I've been here and I'll struggle to go anywhere else for takeout pizza now that I've tried this place! Food was hot with fresh ingredients and there was no oil or grease in the pizza box like you get with a lot of places. The staff were really friendly and helpful and all of the food was delicious. Try the arancini!"

"The service here is excellent. Have been here a few times and always had a good meal. Garlic bread starter was average. Parmo and risotto were not good. Risotto was more like rice pudding. It may just be a one off as we normally get good food here."

"Lovely plant-based menu with a lot to choose from. It's honestly hard to pick! Incredibly tasty food. Loses a star for not following request to leave off one ingredient I don't like, meaning I had to throw away much more than I would have liked to."

"A vegan extravaganza. happy cow reserve 5 stars for vegan or veggie cans only. I understand that, but turtle bay had no evaluation of vegans that I can say and eating bleeded two vegans away, so here are 5 deserved stars. there is more than enough choice when it comes to selecting options from the vegan menu. it is a Caribbean joint, so hug the sweet some dishes and seasoned by others, all washed with amazing drinks. on the city, they try the groundless brunch. the vegan island buddha the bowl met every conceivable taste on my buds last time that I visited, and the vegan organic tofu buddha bowl this time was as amazing. I would go back for it. but if I want to mix it, a vegan yardbird (and share with her partner) it was amazing. the plantain was sweet, sticky and a hot wonderful supplement to the bowl. a part of the Caribbean dump made sure that the tellers were clean enough to put on the rule again. After I had washed it out with fiery advertiser, my only regret was not enough space for pudding, what a shame. I think I have to go back 5 times to complete the menu and if this visit was something to go, I'm for a real tasty. updated by previous review on 2021 10 23"

"Very friendly. Pete and his staff are really welcoming and friendly, would recommend stopping here if you are looking to explore Whitby and the surrounding area, situated about 6 miles from Whitby in Egton village. Food is all home made and uses locally sourced meats and vegetables, nice selection of drinks and a lovely atmosphere with open fire and friendly locals. The accommodation is also Dog friendly too and there is a beer garden at the rear and benches at the front. Would definitely go back here"

"We wanted breakfast before a visit to Ormsby Hall nearby. This little cafe fitted the bill perfectly. Nice staff, food served quickly. At very reasonable prices. Perfect baked beans and black pudding. While we were there a customer asked for a black pudding tomato, egg, mushrooms fried onion and cheese sandwich!! They happily obliged!!"
