We absolutely love this restaurant. The chefs are always producing amazing, delicious food. We've been there for breakfast, lunches and dinners, and are always happy to return. Yes, it is a pricey place to eat, but you get amazing quality, and LOCAL produce, and I think some people fail to understand, that it comes with a price, but I feel its worth it. Support local!! Great staff. Great atmosphere, and a great place... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Heritage Ranch Restaurant:
Took a friend of ours from Nova Scotia to the resturant for lunch. The service is very good but why are the prices so out of line? The wine was reasonable but the food is so overpriced it doesn't make sense. 22 dollars for a chicken burger? The whole menu is so over the top it just doesn't fit. The ranch is a nice place to go and enjoy but how many family's are going to go eat there. Really no wonder why the place wa... View all feedback.

Went for my mom's birthday. Service was good. But many of the menu items were very expensive and outside of our price range. My mom is a notoriously fussy eater but she had reviewed the menu before she came and had her heart set on the ravioli. It was out by the time we got there. Besides the items that were priced over $50, there was nothing else appealing for her. So she tried soup and starters. She was quite disappointed. My son (10 y/o) ordered a steak that they cooked for him off the lunch menu and it was very overcooked. My wife a starter and again found it meh, especially for the money that she paid. I ordered a hamburger for $22 and it was good, but I don't know if a burger could ever be worth $22. So we won't go again. They couldn't get the cheaper items right, how could I justify spending $75 for an entree item? Especially in Red Deer...
A group of ladies meet at the restaurant at Heritage Ranch once a year. Sadly, I have to say that this will be the last time we will go there. There were 15 of us this time. We absolutely love the location! They had a separate room for us to eat together and it is on the edge of a park with really nice trails - perfect for a walk after lunch. The service was good too. Our only complaint was the food and the price of it. The menu is quite limited and hard to read. There were 3 kinds of sandwiches and they cost $19.50 each. It did come with a choice of side. Most of the ladies chose either the salad or the soup. There were 2 soups to choose from - wild mushroom and their version of cream of potato and bacon. I had the steak and potato bowl which cost $22 and I had the potato soup. The soup and food was rather salty, but it was filling and it looked like a better value than the sandwiches some of the others ordered. Tea cost $3.50 and desserts started at $8. A bit pricey for a casual lunch.
