George's Pizza & Steak House - Red Deer

I have ate at Georges for years and of the time it has been great. Service is excellent! the food is awesome and will continue to return.

Myself, my mom, brother, niece and nephew took my father there for brunch today for Father's Day. Today because it was Father's Day they did not serve breakfast which was the first downfall, we ordered coffees and she forgot one, which I now regret...getting, it was the most disgusting coffe I've ever drank. My Father ordered their special chicken Oscar, and the rest of us ordered a sandwich with fries, the sandwiches were very sloppy and the fries were a bit under cooked, gravy was very thick with a sweet taste, fish and chips were dripping in grease and they bring my Father a steak instead of his chicken.!!! There was only a few people at the restaurant and our order took almost mins, then my poor dad had to wait another mins to get his correct plate. The utensils had dried up food, there was hair stuck to the table. Went to the bathroom and the old ceilings are taped up with duct tape, and missing some ceiling tiles, the place is very very run down and the quality of food is wasn't good at all. The waitress offered a free desert for the mix up of my Father's food and said she couldn't do a discount. I will never be back there, not worth the we spent!!!

First time I ordered take out in a long time I received a completely raw chicken cordon blue and there was hair in the food . Completely inedible. Called and they offered me a discount on my next order . So I come back...a few months later to get my meal that was compensated we live hours north of town and come through occasionally) ask the front lady if we could use the credit in the restaurant, she said yes. While I’m ordering the server says oh well I will look for the name and number and I say ok well it was in May if that helps . She then proceeds to tell me that they don’t keep credits longer than a month so I cannot use it and then says you can leave if you want . I was upset and went and asked for a manager and there was not one . I showed her the pictures I attached here and said this is from here I was promised the credit and I asked before I was seated . One of the other servers said just give it to her . But she was extremely annoyed and was like fine . I can’t prove it but whatever . We have now been sitting here for minutes and nothing yet . I’m actually fearful of getting my food at this point . Super disappointed- we used to love this place but now it’s ****.

Stopped in to look at the Menu. Great Price on their Steak. So I stayed ordered the Steak Shrimp and Scallops Special WOW ..!!! Oz Steak, Thick Baseball Large Prawns; Bacon Wrapped Scallops; Big Stuffed Potatoe; Garlic Toast. WOW WOW And...Salad to Start. All for just Great Great. My stomach was happy and full. Went back next night had their Fettuccine Alfredo, Huge Portion Homemade with Garlic Toast. .... My New Go To Place for Great Food and Better Price !!!! Thank You Georges!!! I'll Be Back !!!
