Quarrymans Hotel - Pyrmont

A place where you can get a bit on the Hoppy side. Menu elements are acceptable, but not excellent, so they come for the beer.

It was a crazy quiet Australia day, but we were happy in the dachkaktusgarten. had a fishburger who was more of a fish pattie burger, but the chips were crunchy and a generous portion. large selection of craft beers and an inner courtyard. very friendly staff.

We visited a place to lunch on Tuesday. the decor was pleasant. the personal was friendly. they had a half price tacos deal $7.50 instead of $15.) the halloumi tacos were very tasty, even though they only get 2 that the court less. a bargain makes when they have to order 2 dishes most places serve 3 tacos.) beer seemed a bit expensive compared to some other pubs in the opposite.

Venue was good but the flow of food was slow and the waitress offended a number of our staff, speaking to them in a rude manner and rolling her eyes!

First time visitor. A variety of seating options. We enjoyed seating in a well protected indoor/outdoor area. Great craft beer selection, plenty of good choices on a well curated list. The beer was in very good shape and staff were knowledgeable about products being offered....Tuesday was cheap snitty night and I was more than happy with a well cooked snitty and shoe-string fries.
