"Food was good, felt like this place has existed for some time, judging by the food. Enjoyed the sizzler and grilled seafood. Staff were friendly and helpful. No cigarette shops nearby so recommend bringing your own. Crème brulee was good too."

"I remember during my first time in Pondicherry, walking through the Promenade, I stumbled across this store. The warmly lit interiors one can peek through its glass windows are inviting, so for someone who loves exploring local stores, I walked in. The warmth of the people inside the store surpassed my expectations. The staff of this store is kind and considerate, they will not push you into buying products but tell you a story of items curated and sourced from the local artisans of Pondicherry. How within each of us is a story waiting to be unravelled to the right listener, the products that you would pick up and explore, have their own origins and a journey, which you can ask from the staff and they will happily oblige. When you do any purchase in this store, you are certain that it has been ethically sourced. Without intentionally participating, I was experiencing conscientious shopping perhaps for the very first time in an Indian store. The store has everything one might need for themselves or want to present to others, it has souvenirs one can carry along as a promise to return to this city where time stands still. There are few experiences one has to undergo to understand their relevance. The ambience, the essence and the underlying values that Aura experience store represents are to this day unmatched for me. But coming to this store has certainly raised my expectations from other local stores I visit when I am travelling. If I have to recommend a particular category in the store, it will have to be the Home and Interiors, I love the locally sourced ceramic tableware and bed linen. Happy Shopping! :"

"Did I not take any pictures at this restaurant!? This place rocks! they're vegan handmade chocolates are to die for and the salad is really good with REAL sourdough Italian bread. BUT! the vegan chocolate ice-cream... I mean... its unreal and out of this world! I asked how it was made and I've been told that it holds three ingredients: coconut milk, sugar, and dark chocolate. I don't understand how it can be possible? it's the best vegan ice-cream I've ever had. If I ever come to south India again I will travel just for the ice-cream"

"We visited this place to try some French dishes. It's like being in a grand palace, a restaurant with various seating areas - outside, AC restaurant and bar. We should even visit the innovative washroom here, which has a washbasin that can be operated on foot. Interesting! :) <br>

We wanted to try grilled calamari but it wasn't available. <br>
We ordered French onion soup - not sure if it is the authentic French soup but if so I would suggest not to try. It's just herbal water with sliced onions. The cheese crouton was moist and not tasty. <br>
Grilled Tiger Prawns with Lemon Caper Butter Sauce - There was a side of lemon risotto. The prawns were tasty, but the risotto was dry and tough. <br>
Tawa Fried Fish - It came with a side of mashed potatoes. Tasted hot and good. <br>

"The place might look posh, but the food is very affordable and tastes amazing! It's pocket-friendly when it comes to meals.<br/ .<br/ .<br/ I had their meal which included many items like butter milk, momos, parotta and chicken curry, paneer, 4 varieties of rice, and what not!<br/ The staff was amazing and I loved the ambience. "At first it's a big yes to this place. Really the person who is taking the order is very courteous and there is only a lady doing pastas. You need patience but the food is worth the wait. Menu is just limited they serve only pastas and few beverages. We had chicken Alfredo and iced lemon tea. Pasta was really really good, I would say best one I had in Pondy, Lot better than expensive restaurants around. I would really go to this place again and again. Keep in mind patience is the key for good food here."

"We had our traditional South Indian lunch with roti, dal, rice, carrot plant, pickle, curd and reispapad. it just tastes like eating at home. this restaurant is located in an old vintage house. the ground floor is for the gallery for handmade items such as cosmetics, wallets, clothing, which is also for sale. the entire facility is managed only by women. so the food has to be brought home."
