while anandha the gas house as hotel was great with nice rooms and friendly staff, the restaurant surabhi, where we were offered free breakfast was bad. that was probably the worst breakfast buffet I ever had. eating was bland, refilling was slow and service was simply rude. I would not recommend it just because it is free. it needs a lot of improvement. read more.

"Did I not take any pictures at this restaurant!? This place rocks! they're vegan handmade chocolates are to die for and the salad is really good with REAL sourdough Italian bread. BUT! the vegan chocolate ice-cream... I mean... its unreal and out of this world! I asked how it was made and I've been told that it holds three ingredients: coconut milk, sugar, and dark chocolate. I don't understand how it can be possible? it's the best vegan ice-cream I've ever had. If I ever come to south India again I will travel just for the ice-cream"
