This was a pre theatre dinner with my daughter we are both vegetarians and she is gluten free. As usual we were offered papadoms we asked if they were gf (most are but it is worth checking) and after checking we were told definitely so we ordered some we we were then told best not to have them in case! What Henry Shaw doesn't like about Purple Mango:
Firstly, it's not ideal to describe this as an Indian takeaway as it is a full size restaurant. As a restaurant and an expensive one at that a garlic naan was 5.45 it is a disappointment. Our main courses arrived 3 4 mins apart and were transposed. Based on the announcements accompanying their arrival, we started each others dishes. Onion bhajis were poor.
