Best restaurant in Porto Covo. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is of great quality and very well prepared. Real home made food! In high season I suggest you book table a few days in advance because this place is always busy.

One of my top 10 favorite restaurant around the world. Everything was perfect every times we have been. The food is so generous, the quality and how they cooked it is amazing, the grilled fishes, the homemade French fries, and the dessert of the house is just incredible. All of this for prices more than honest. I recommend this restaurant 1000 times !!! Can’t wait to come back to porto covo just for this restaurant !! Thanks for the amazing service : Clo and Quentin

Homemade the way it is meant to be… meals prepared from scratch by a highly skilled team in the kitchen. No request is too much. The team attending to the clients is very knowledgeable and love to help the clients choose the right dish, accompanied of course, if so desired, by the perfect fit wine. If you are looking for the high standing authentic Alentejano cuisine in a family restaurant without pretenses to feel at ease and cared for… this is the place to be. Paulo and his team will make you feel right at home.

We insisted on eating lunch at this restaurant on an August day without being allowed to reserve, so eventually we ended up waiting for over an hour. We had been warned, though, so cannot complain too much. It was generally worth it, as the place offers a nice vibe in the centre of Porto Covo, good traditional Portuguese food and drinks with reasonable prices. We had octopus, cod and sardines, which were all good, however not exceptional. Food served to other tables also looked good. The white wine was great as well as the dessert (biscuit cake). Generally recommend, but better skip it on busy days.
