Chef very kindly made an off menu soft shelled crab burger that was so very delicious! Ambience was lovely and the service was good. Will definitely be returning. View all feedback.

What Úrsula Luevano dislikes about Rivermark Cafe:
two options for gf. one of these choices was fish, but unfortunately it is from vietnam. such a scandal that this restaurant does not offer local products that are plentiful in this opposite. hubby had a vegetarian burger who was homemade (I think) and was really. Apparently. the personal and service were. great position, only hope that they change their menu to celebrate the local products. there was not even utter... View all feedback.

I love this cafe. It's location on the river is beautiful and the food is delicious. I've tried a few things here now and it's all been great. Love the seafood here and the creative salads.

Waterside Dining. A visit to Rivermark cafe was a pleasant experience beside the bumpy beginnings. The cafe is on the banks of the Hastings river it 's a large space with a metal stone floor. The carport style covered seating area is basic but a lovely place to sit and watch the river with it 's bird life and boats cruising by. It 's very busy on a Friday during the school holidays in January. We were told at first that they had no tables and unless we sat inside or came back another time we may be out of luck, so we insisted on waiting in the inside 'dining room ' till a table became available. Before we could even pour ourselves some water there was a table and several more besides. The very young staff are well mannered but inexperienced. We choose from the varied menu from things like salads, 17) schnitzel wraps 16.50), burgers 17) and seafood <br/ from 23). There is nothing ground breaking or different but the food is well presented and fresh. There is a good choice in wines by the bottle and glass at reasonable prices fr 7 a glass). There is very little service as you order from the front counter. The seafood is well cooked and pleasant but frozen. Mango puree features heavily on the menu and may be a summer inspiration, regardless this is a relaxing restaurant with a great outlook.

Rivermark Cafe is on the banks of the Hastings River. There are tourist boats, Pelicans landing with the grace of a Concord and speedboats whizzing by as we sit in a kind of

We love this cafe. 1. Beautiful venue. 2. The best service. 3. Great food. On 2 occasions we have just turned up with our whole family, and when they find out we have no booking they are so accommodating. It's so refreshing, so many places make a big deal of not having a booking, and these guys are just amazing, they don't make you feel like a burden, but welcome you whole heartedly. Thank you. Such lovely old school hospitality. We will be back for sure.

A great relaxing place for any time of day. Meals are yummy with great presentation. Staff are very friendly and always willing to help, nothing is too much effort for them. And the view is pure bliss right on the Hastings River. Do yourself a favour and put this on your list when visiting Port Macquarie
