The extensive tapas menu includes delicious options like chilli and garlic prawns, beef empanadas, and patatas bravas. The cocktails, particularly the rum sour and Sangria, are highly recommended. The staff are patient and accommodating, despite the busy atmosphere, making for a pleasant dining experience. With a good selection of beers and wines, Seabean is a must-visit spot for those looking for quality food and a welcoming atmosphere in Port Douglas.
6 of us ate here - the food is fabulous. A modern twist on Tapas; the crab sliders were awesome! He staff were friendly and helpful. The on,y reason for a 4 star review is that the kitchen shuts for hot food at 9pm. Having said that, the chefs kept it open an extra 15 minutes to accommodate us. Thanks guys :-)
Wow! So entirely thrilled with the service and quality of food and drink! I was so excited to return to seabean and was far from disappointed. Such a pleasure to come back to a place you've previously had a great experience and to be impressed again. So great to live up to expectations after raving to your friend about "how great it was last time and that we must visit - trust me"Thank you to the manager and staff for a wonderful evening. You truly understand customer service. I will be back.
We stopped in last night with no reservation and they were kind enough to squeeze us in. We ordered Pinot Grigio which was gorgeous! We weren't sure how many tapas to order but the waitress was really helpful. We ordered the bravas, sticky chicken, meatballs, paprika fries, scallops, and chorizo. They were all really lovely and the entire bill came to $92 including wine. Great value for the high quality. The only downside was that we had no room left for churros! Highly recommend.
Service was friendly, has a good range of beers and food that weren't too expensive. The food was tasty and plentiful with a good selection and would go back next time we are in Port Douglas. :)
We had dinner at Seabean twice on our recent visit to Port Douglas. The food was great, we especially loved the slow cooked lamb sliders and the fish tacos. A great wine list, cheerful and friendly service, you couldn't ask for more. The bar is open to the street, and people watching is part of the fun.
