This isn't as cheap as some of the other very solid restaurants in the area, and as is normal we struggled as vegetarians, but the service is always wonderful, the food is exceptional.We used to enjoy meat in forestière sauce but now stick to fondu and mushrooms. Sunday evening stop over on European road trip, staying near Pontarlier. Hotel owner recommended Le Rendezvous to us. Only one waitress who was rushing around in a panic, sweating. We waited quarter of an hour to even place an order for drinks. Food arrived half an hour after that and was below par.
