Don't let the neighborhood scare you! This neighborhood gem is well worth a visit. Fried chicken and gizzards made for a large share app. The Fried Chicken and Waffles large portion also made for a great shared app. We ordered the perfectly cooked Fried catfish along with sides of sweet potatoes, mac and cheese, and the collard greens were the best I had ever had. ok maybe one star is too harsh but we stopped in for lunch in the middle of a long drive. We actually did not stay for lunch. it was dark and scary and there was nobody anywhere to help us or show us to a table .... we made a reservation based on the great reviews but it sure did not look like we would have a good meal if we stayed.... had to move on sorry read more.
