Zesty's - Philadelphia

The food is very disappointing. I couldn't taste the potato in the gnocchi, which was soggy, and the sauce was incredibly bland. The Greek sides were fine. The baklava cheesecake was an incredible disappointment: the cheesecake filling was lumpy, and the phyllo dough on top was soggy and devoid of spices--worst all instead of a crust there is a layer of unflavored yellow cake at the bottom. The atmosphere is its main selling point.

The food was perfect, the server was beyond nice, the owner too, I definitely recommend this place

Food and mein host wonderful. Music (jazz) nice on Saturday but prevented a lot of conversion and hearing for our table guests. Some acoustic barriers would anyway help when the restaurant is busy (on those evenings without music especially).

I love this place. The food was great. I ate at the bar and the bartender was wonderful and Gave me recommendation for a Greek red wine and she was spot on. It was super delicious. The food was good, I had a steak. I know that’s not what you go to a Greek restaurant for. But they’re kind of the only reasonably priced place in the neighbourhood for a steak, unless you want steak frites or some kind of flank or hanger steak at a few other places. Which I was not in the mood for. But they serve the steak with a kind of a Greek style chimichurri, which I spread on my steak and it was delicious. So I was really glad that I came into this place. It was my first time. And they had live Greek music which was really wonderful. And a belly dancer if you like that kind of thing. I am new to the city so this is the first time that I came to this place. I will definitely come back and try more Greek food.

I ordered chicken with spinach mushrooms and cheese inside and the chicken looked questionable and since I ate it I’ve had symptoms of food poisoning. The overall vibe of the restaurant was nice though.
