I have never once had a meal that left me genuinely speechless. We got the roast chicken foe the table and it was truly so thing special. The staff was outstanding in their service, and our waiter made us custom cocktails when they didn't have a drink Iwanted, which turned out to be one of the best cocktails I've ever had. What Cheyenne Goldner dislikes about Southwark:
Southwark was recommendation by a coworker when I complained about the lack luster food and drinks at a different restaurant. Southwark did not disappoint, and coincidentally had named their new drink in honor of my all-time favorite, Patrick Swayze (I had 2). They were also extremely accommodating to our friend who is allergic to every food under the sun. Great experience! View all feedback.
This place is fantastic. Jamie's Mondays are the best.
The drinks at this restaurant were enjoyable and they offered a great selection of liquor and amaro. The service was excellent. However, we found one dish to be overpriced and chose to dine elsewhere. The warm bread appetizer consisted of 2 pieces of stale bread cut in half with butter, priced at $12. It was oddly humorous.
What a charming farm-to-table dining experience! My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this gem during our road trip from Massachusetts, and it was the highlight of our journey. The waitress was so friendly and even gave us some great recommendations for other places to visit in the area. The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. We are looking forward to returning in the summer to enjoy the outdoor seating area!
I had a very enjoyable experience here with a friend for dinner. I love the frenetic energy of the front of the place while the back of house was quiet and romantic. The food was fine. Nothing was bad. I just wasn't blown away. I will come back for the service and atmosphere.
Had a cocktail here on a weekend night. Amazing and creative and incredible service. Will be back
