Cafe Lift offers a mixed dining experience with long wait times, missing menu items, and dry pancakes alongside delicious dishes like Huevos Rancheros and a vibrant atmosphere. While some may feel embarrassed by less impressive meals, loyal customers highly recommend the cafe for its friendly service, affordable prices, and flavorful options like sweet potato butter biscuit bites and Cajun salmon BLT. The busy location is a testament to its popularity, though some may find the portion sizes and pricing a bit inconsistent. Overall, while some may not return due to service mishaps, others are eager for a second visit to enjoy the unique menu offerings.

Absolutely recommended! The vibe, the waiters, the cleanliness, the presentation of food, flavor, everything was on point! All food was presented well, and tasty. We order the breakfast burrito, which is very filling. The mushroom Benedict was fresh and absolutely a great summer dish, especially with the peas in there. Gorgeous! The crepes was the happiest ending. Very generous with the Nutella and had some bananas too! I?d definitely be coming back again to try other dishes. Thank you for a great experience.

Cafe Lift is a quality choice for brunch just outside of the center city area. Unfortunately, they don?t take reservations so it is a bit of a gamble on a weekend. They have inside and outdoor covered seating inside a hollowed-out cargo container. We had to wait over an hour to get seated but the food was really good. I had the blueberry pancakes with a side of eggs. My girlfriend got the french toast, which she loved, with a side of eggs as well. We split a side of bacon. The pancakes were good; not only were blueberries baked into the pancakes but they sprinkled several on top. The eggs were scrambled to near perfection. Very light and creamy. The bacon left a bit to be desired and the price for the cranberry juice felt a bit steep. Honestly would have preferred less liquid to a $5.25 drink. Overall though, planning ahead and the taste of the food elevates Cafe Lift into the rotation of great brunch around Philly.

I accidentally discovered this hidden gem in Philly. The service was top-notch and the French toast was incredible. I also had eggs and turkey bacon, which left me feeling completely satisfied. The place was quite busy on the weekend, so I recommend going early. Parking is a bit tricky due to the close proximity to downtown. The other dishes I saw being served looked delicious, so I can't wait to come back for more.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the service was quick. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and it was excellent. My guest had the breakfast burrito and both dishes were just the right amount of food. The portions were generous but not overwhelming. The sauce that came with the dishes was spicy and tasty. The restaurant was clean and reasonably priced with both indoor and outdoor seating options. At first glance, it may seem like a small place, but it was much larger inside than expected. All the food looked appetizing and came out hot and fast. I would definitely return if I am ever in Philadelphia again.

We had a great breakfast at this restaurant. We arrived around 11am on a Thursday and it didn't start getting busy until we left around 12:30pm. I ordered the eggs Benedict with iced coffee and my boyfriend had the breakfast burrito with orange juice, both of which were delicious. The pancake was also tasty, but it was a bit disappointing that it was 1 for $8 and a stack of 3 for $15! We didn't enjoy the pork rolls as much. Our waiter was decent, not very attentive but polite. The atmosphere was pleasant. Our total bill came to $65 with tip, as tip is not included. We left a 20% tip.
