"We use your takeaway delivery service about twice a year, normally our experience is 5 star all the way, however last night we found the food below the normal standard, the Chicken tasted old and re-heated, and the Korma sauce/Gravy was watery and lacking taste, rice however was good, and delivery driver friendly, I hope this is just a one off bad night, food was always delightful from here, makes me wonder if the restaurant has new owners? Service: Take out"

"Arrived in Peterborough after a 3hr drive. The team happily invited me in at 10.30pm which was very welcome! Everything was delicious and the staff were spot on. Can’t recommend enough."

"From the phone call we made to book out table the lady taking our reservation was lovey efficient and said oh we love dogs here at the blue bell and they will get a fuss, and they sure did. Our table was in the bar...area all ready for us with a fire blazing in the grate. The staff brought our menus asked if we wanted drinks and while I was choosing the wine they brought a chilled bottle of tap water, nice!! The food was delicious and plenty of veg and cooked to perfection ,the staff were friendly and looked at ease while working and it was busy, Hats off to the Chefs and front of house boys and girls. Cant wait for my next visit"

"Really good food, lots of portions. Good choice for Sunday lunch with 3 course set price menu at reasonable prices. We had to wait a while before we order, but it seems that it is as they do things, so easy to go with the river and enjoy! Diners are immersed in the restaurant when a whole house, so if you want to stay more socially away, maybe somewhere else I would just see my observation and not a criticism."

"Family Anniversary, pre booked table. Good menu mid Sunday afternoon in February. We were a party of six. Good choice of beer, wine and soft drinks prior to ordering. All food arrived on hot plates, food clearly freshly cooked and of good quality, portions were large and we were disappointed for the waste. A fair choice of sweets and puddings. Good value for money."
