"First visit was pretty disappointing. We really enjoyed the calamari. And the waiter was very nice. But everything else was a let down for the price point.I do not recommend the French onion soup- too much pepper. The Brittany style salad was an up charge for crumbled bacon that was not cooked up fresh and warm as advertised. The scallops were ok- but some were gritty and they sauce was very sweet and syrupy."

"Horrible, horrible experience. The lady at the front was condescending and acted like I had no right being in the store. Meanwhile, when she helped another customer?s order, she was cheery and warm and welcoming keep note that I was the only Asian american in the store. When I clicked on no tip, she scoffed visibly. The latte was watery, and though I added an extra shot it tasted nothing like coffee. Horrible experience"

"It 's a hot Tuesday afternoon. We 're on vacation in need of a cooling beverage. Silver Dollar was the nearest venue. So glad we stopped. The bar was clean and thankfully air conditioned. The beers were cheap and the cocktails strong. Thanks to Crazy Mary (who provided excellent service and was vey attentive) we received some valuable information on places to visit and local restaurants. She was fun to chat with and we 're sorry we are just passing thru and cannot be regulars."

"A wonderful place for a little indulgence. While all their flavors are very good, the peach for me is the best. Smooth ice cream with hunks of real peaches is a real delight. Their flavors rotate so unfortunately they do not always have peach. The up side is that I have tried other flavors and if you like an almond joy then a must try is the almond coconut bar. If you can't make it to the Heights, don't forget they also have a summer location down on the riverfront with sometimes different flavors."
