Hokuto Japanese Cuisine - Penticton

While this isn't my favorite place for sushi in Penticton, its in the running for second place. Each Japanese restaurant seems to have a certain aspect that is worth going back for and keeps me going to a variety of establishments. Miso soup here is very good, and they have a wide variety of tasty sushi options. We had fast service for ordering and receiving our fod, but once again we were neglected when it was time to get our bill and pay up.We appreciated the jug of water that was left at our table.The restaurant was kind of noisy with a crying baby and loud traffic noise on the street. And we were sitting indoors during this visit.

Hokuto is a small Japanese restaurant in Penticton. I've eaten at lots of Japanese restaurants and I have to say this one is quite good. The restaurant decor isn't the most fancy but the restaurant is clean, the food was fresh and tasty, and the service was quite good. The prices are also reasonable. The owners are nice people and came back a few times during our meal to check to see if we needed more tea and if the meal was good. There are also a couple of very good vegetarian rolls on the menu. I'd definitely go back!

As advertised the Awesome roll is truly awesome. The perfect balance of crab filling, rice, seared salmon, sauces and crunchy yam topping. Delicious. Filling and great price.

Visit there last week and the food was very good and the service was good aswell. Will definitely go back

I really enjoy the Bento box but was not able to get it on a weekday when it was a holiday. Disappointing. It would be nice if the lady would come back to your table , ask how your meal is or if you need anything.
