Contribute FeedbackSamba, a Brazilian steakhouse located at the Mirage Hotel/Casino, has been a long-standing favorite amongst patrons. The restaurant offers a unique dining experience with excellent service and delicious steaks. While some reviewers were disappointed with the lack of traditional Rodizio options, others were impressed with the efficient service and delectable food offerings. Despite some minor setbacks in service and menu changes over the years, Samba continues to provide a satisfying dining experience for its customers. With the announcement of its closure at the end of August, loyal patrons will surely miss this beloved establishment.
Samba has been at the mirage Hotel/Casino for about 17 years, which is about twice the average casino restaurant life expectancy. I have often eaten there and visited my friends of scottsdale and suggested we go there. that was very happy as I read on the line and checked with our head office that sambas ende august will be closed. we were only happy that my visit was not the next month. the restaurant has changed in the course of the years. originally they offered a single rodizio restaurants choice, all meat, fish and ananas (wonderful.) likely to lower their price point, they currently offer two Rodizio experiences. they still have a full of selections, although not as many as before and the limited rodizio waives the salmon and filet mignon. we have all chosen the latter because there is no lack of food choices. the food was very good and the service was excellent as my experience was. the margarita’s were scaled again in size, but the taste is still excellent. overall our experience was also very good with the noticeable setbacks to control the costs. we were all satisfied with dinner and will miss sambas. By the way, it is replaced by an average price (for the strip, that is) Italian restaurant opening late autumn.
The service was excellent, all steaks were delicious. the caipirinha was not the greatest, but someone who has not lived or visited in Brazil cannot have a reference point and find it satisfactory. the most disappointing part was to find out as soon as we were inside and ordered our drinks that it was not traditional rodizio with the salatable, dessertable and so on. I was very excited about it. samba closes the 31st august, maybe that's the reason I don't know.
So impressed!!! We were served immediately after being sat and the food just kept coming. In past experiences with Brazilian Steak Houses, I felt like it took too long to get something new and then I would fill up on the first thing and be disappointed. Not the case here!!! Every single thing we ate was amazing. We did the upgraded experience and the filet alone was worth it. We were served good portions and everything was excellent. Highly recommend! We will be back!
Strange mood. no one was there. meat was bland. very disappointed.
We always have a good time when we go to Samba. It would be nice if the restaurant was enclosed so the smoke from the casino did not infiltrate the dining experience. Service was very good always is.
