Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant, located in a 30's Deco courtyard with a Moroccan feel and swaying Palms, offers an intimate, charming, and romantic setting with soft, sexy lighting. The recent renovation has beautifully transformed the hotel, but the limited and disappointing menu with high prices leaves much to be desired. The service can be lacking, with outdoor seating reserved only for hotel guests. Despite the lovely surroundings and delicious food, many feel that the prices are absurd and overcharging has occurred. However, the restaurant is highly recommended for special events, and the food, though on the petite side, is delicious and expertly prepared. The wait staff is attentive, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the drinks are delightful. Overall, a lovely place to spend a few hours enjoying delicious food and drinks in a stunning setting.
We loved our stay at this hotel Relaxed, old-school Palm Springs vibe.
Old school Palm Springs - I love it! Colony Palms feels secluded and intimate, just what a movie star of the past would expect. It wasn't the cheapest
BEWARE!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! Horrendous experience from start to finish (and we're not actually done because now we have to dispute credit card charges).
The restaurant was conveniently located for us and the menu looked good. When we arrived they had no means of checking a reservation and didn't have a table ready for us. It took about 15 minutes for anyone to greet our table at all, so we were able to already decide on our dinner by the first time a server talked to us. It then took another 25-30 minutes for our dinner to arrive. We had a Caesar salad, sliders, and lobster mac and cheese and I wouldn't order any of it again. The beer was good and it seemed like a fun place. There was live music that was really good, but the whole place was so loud it was impossible to have a conversation.
Even though you can make a reservation on THEIR website, they do not want to honor it. The waitress was baffled at a reservation. It gets busy and super loud to the point that even though you are yelling in someone's ear....they can't hear you.
