Eating and service are great. the minestrone is worth the trip.
Had a great dinner with three other couples on wine night 2 entrees free bottle of wine! Matt was our server did a great job! Everyone enjoyed their dish...will go back again! Thank you!
I am so glad I found this gem on Open Table. We were looking for a new place to dine , as opposed to eat, that would accommodate a party of 8 and have a menu we could all agree on. Well, this was it! From a wine list with house wines that were more than just your usual cabernet and chardonnay, to the really extensive (for fine dining and varied menu, to the service (attentive but not cloying or pretentious , to the delightful Giovanni coming to each table to tell us all about his food and menu, to the fabulous cuisine, it was a great night of dining well. With a relaxed atmosphere and seating that is never too close to your neighbor, we ate every morsel. And we shared with our friends! The gouda and pear ravioli was a huge surprise, and we all wanted a tiny taste. You can 't go wrong with the freshly made pasta, and the bolognese sauce was perfect. I will say that the look of the meatball made us all laugh...it looked like a miniature rock of Gibraltar! But the flavor was all Italian. Our party also tried the Lasagna (thumbs up! , the Chicken Piccata (heavenly , the lobster bisque (wonderful only served on Friday, and the minestrone (pretty good . The salad was crisp and fresh, and their homemade dressings are really great (try the blue cheese and bacon . By the time we finished, we had all decided what we will have the next time! One caveat. This is NOT a fast food experience. Everything is cooked to order, so make sure you are dining with someone whose company and conversation you enjoy. The wait was actually less than we had expected; but I would imagine it would be a bit longer later in the evening when things heat up. Pretty packed after 7PM.
Not sure what happened- reservation for 6:45pm and weren’t seated until after 7pm. Enjoyed cocktails but appetizer took 40 mins and food took close to an hour. We ended up paying and boxing food to go. Place was not that crowded but our waiter kept telling us kitchen was backed up.
Food very good! Pasta homemade, fresh bread, excellent sauces. Had lobster ravioli which was wonderful. Also delicious calamari husband had chicken Alfredo which was also very good. Odd location inside needs freshening up. . Don’t judge a book by its cover because food great quality and value. Excellent service very friendly owners to both come by our table to check in. We will be back!
