Wilfrid's Restaurant - Fairmont Chateau Laurier

We were extremely disappointed with the quality of our food. This was our third visit to the restaurant and our previous experience was exceptional. However, this time, with a group of 8, our smoked meat poutines were soggy, the meat was flavorless and fatty, the salad was bland and oily, and the chicken in the Caesar salad was dry and tough. The tuna tartare was also lacking in flavor. The staff seemed overwhelmed, as we waited over an hour to receive our food.

You must visit this restaurant for a breathtaking sunset in Ottawa. The staff is extremely friendly and serves simple yet delicious dishes made with high-quality ingredients. Don't let the grand Chateau Laurier intimidate you - this is a relaxed patio with a cozy atmosphere, ideal for ending a summer Sunday.

Great service and view. Food is priced properly considering both and was fresh.

Restaurant was nice but menu very limited. Mostly vegan options and honestly not a lot of good meat options. It was more vegan, snack kind of food and they focused more on pizzas. Spent $200 on a bad menu. You’re paying for the views only
