It's definitely a unique place.. It is dark and dingy but also homey at the same time. At first glance you might think "I wouldn't want to eat here" but the food is actually great. I've eaten here many times and it's always great with good portions at a reasonable price. The owner cheaps out on the A/C in all but the hottest weather, which is unfortunate; but he doesn't cheap put on the food. read more.

Simcoe Blues has become very run down, and could use a thorough cleaning. I used to enjoy going there for the live music and the food, as well as the people, friendly crowd mostly middle aged and older. They are charging quite a lot for some of the drinks and charge you $1.50 extra if you want to substitute one item for another on menu items.
