"Instead of having our annual Christmas dinner we had a brunch today in this restaurant, variety of dishes was very good, the owner kept the restaurant open just for us and closed for the public,after a glas of prosecco we started with a good size...bowl of Muesli with fresh fruits and natural yoghurt, different kind of dry fruits (cranberries etc). Went on with various egg variations, cerano ham, jelly, fish, special dried deer meat, For lunch we could choose between goose, red cabbage and dumplings, fish on vegetables and a vegatarian dish. Finally we had a delightful and well presented nice desert buffet. The location for the buffet was not hugh but big enough for people"

"Eating is very special and delicious. exotic flavor and many vegan dishes. the prices are high, but I think because it is a tourist place. but the service was not good at all. other customers had to wait more than 20min to get the bill (I even called the waiter for them because they never looked for us) and we also order for drinks. the other customers also went to the bank and wanted to pay, but the staff told them to go back and wait. but they waited for 20 minutes! we sat next to the door in their garden, but the staff never looked at us or asked if we needed something (we had to order). also 1 meal was so late that my other family almost finished there court. at the end I told them that, but it was apology that they were busy, etc. but if they are already busy now, they should better manage it or educate the personal the a few seconds to take care of the customers. I never had such a bad service in restaurant"

"We come here occasionally to have a little refreshment. Last time we visited in early August 2017. Enjoyed the drink and relaxing atmosphere. In my opinion, it's also reasonably priced for Swiss standards. Great area to take a break if you're: A cyclist Motorbike rider Pedestrian Traveling by car Parking is available at the other side of the road."

"In between visits with old friends to the Rheinfall and Stein am Rhein we stopped at Da Leone for lunch. What a superb choice this was the prix fixe lunch specials were an incredible value with salad, main course and dessert. The pizza selection...is also excellent, and all the portion sizes were terrific. Now let's be clear: when you go with Swiss who are over the age of 65 who have traveled the world you can expect they have exacting standards. They too were extremely impressed. We would all definitely return. Although we ate outside in the garden the interior is also beautiful and looks like the best you find in Bella Italia. Next time definitely want to try their vitello tonnato. Take a look at this elegant espresso service (photo)...sadly these days all too rare in Switzerland. This was a real treat, especially given how much very average overpriced espresso you find all over CH!"

"Very tasty eating also friendly service and reasonable price-performance ratio. a finer kitchen in the sing is nice to see. happy again. the self-made criminal oil was excellent and gave the lattezle a certain freshness to solve this. I also think that it was the first time that the medium grass were actually medium-sized instead of medium. the gazpacho was excellent with the warm accents of pimento and garnele."
