The service and atmosphere at this restaurant are top-notch. I can see myself coming back to this place in Orillia for a few reasons - the wings are truly amazing. I can't get enough of them. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Moe's Tap & Wings:
I went to this restaurant with my friends for some wings and drinks. They were able to accommodate us with a few chairs since it wasn't crowded, which was great. The wings were absolutely delicious. View all feedback.
Came here for wings and a few drinks with some friends. They let us move some chairs around since it wasn't busy which was nice. The wings were amazing and the service was really friendly. I ordered their hottest wings and they were definitely good and pretty spicy. The washrooms are really weird though. They are using something like closet doors for three washroom stalls. It was very, very cramped. It really would of been better if they just had one bathroom instead of these weird stalls since it doesn't seem like a really busy place anyways. I also was feeling awful the next day and the wings were the only things I had that my husband didn't... Is it bad I would still order them again though, because they really were that good? I would try them again and if I do I will update my review.
Prices OK, customer service so-so, and quality of food alright. M'lady and I were looking for somewhere in the area to get a bite to eat, and long story short we ended up at Moe's. When we got there, the table was dirty, which our server eventually took care of on her own, before taking our orders. I ended up asking for hot water with lemon, and the server ended up giving me a glass and taking the teapot with her saying she had to warm up the water. When she returned with it, she said that she hoped it was warm enough, where-as I found it to be lukewarm. M'lady's rye and coke, mostly consisting and rye, and the coke was flat. The server all-in-all had a really strange way about her, as she was stumbling when she walked, and she had a shy vibe about her, which I found strange for a server. I ended up ordering hot sauce on the side of the wings we got, however we ended up getting barbeque sauce instead, as my mild wings were hotter than the sauce. The wings themselves were pretty good (well cooked, well seasoned, and quite tasty). All-in-all, I don't see me returning to this venue, considering my experience.
Read a positive review, not from town so decided to try it.... Knew the second I saw the 780P TV that this place was not for me. Decided to order a pitcher and a pound of wings to tide me over. ... I guess 6 tiny wings equals a pound at Moes, little did I know these 7 awful wings would cost 13$... Plus the pitcher of home brew was 17$. What a joke.
Good service and atmosphere. This will likely be my go-to spot in Orillia for a couple of reasons. First, the wings are truly fantastic. I got one pound with salt and pepper dry flavouring (so basically nothing with Flaming Moe's sauce on the side. Ten points for the Simpsons reference and a million points for burning my mouth off with a tiny drop of this stuff. The wings are big and cooked perfectly, even at midnight. Service was quick, with none of us ever sitting with am empty glass (which becomes a problem later on... Now the thing that will make this spot a favourite forever: due to the many drinks and possibly my run with the Guatemalan Insanity Peppers, I somehow left my wallet in the bar. My wallet was returned to me, safe and sound, without a cent missing. So basically, this place has everything you want: great wings, a bunch of comfy booths that seat 6, good service and honest people.
Great wings and cold beer. Enough said. Cajun dry rub and salt and pepper dry kept calling me back for more. Solid service and continual check ins made this a great experience,
