Lazy Dog Restaurant Bar

My sister took me out to lunch at the Lazy Dog Restaurant Bar in Orange and I really enjoyed the late lunch. Don't be fooled by the funky name of this place as it was busy and the food was really good. I had the BBQ Veggie Burger, which was a vegetarian sandwich. I am a meat eater, but I thought I would take a chance on something different. The sandwich filling was based on black beans, veggies, beets, garlic and a killer sauce. I could not finish the sandwich as it was quite large. Also, the beans made the sandwich a bit heavy. Great tasting food. I guess dogs are allowed as guests since i saw at least 3 dogs while dining. The next table had a Great Dane dining with the family of 4, but he was well mannered and did not cause any drama. Interesting place.

I came here to celebrate my pup’s birthday and she very much enjoyed her chicken and white rice bowl.My human friend and I enjoyed some appetizers and libations, and our favorite was definitely the street corn fries. ? The coconut shrimp and sauce were a bit underwhelming, but we definitely enjoyed our drinks.

The sandwiches were thoughtfully presented, beautifully assembled, and arrived in such a way that they looked like they had been served at the table. Everything was hot and absolutely delicious, with generous portions. We didn’t even touch the Queso Dip on the first night because our sandwiches, fries, and onion rings were so filling. However, the queso was fantastic on day two! The Cuban Sandwich was packed with meat, and the bread was golden and buttery, perfectly grilled. The Walnut Chicken Salad Sandwich was also impressive, featuring flavorful chicken and a nicely textured dressing that held everything together. The Umami fries and onion rings were outstanding as well. Just go ahead and order already!

Allie was an absolute star today. We came here at an impromptu date night and she really sold the experience. She was very friendly and very xtrememly...

Got a burger from this place and it was delicious! We had a reservation, got there, and we're seated quickly. The food was delicious and portion sizes were great. Kids meals were great and my son loved his order also! Can't go wrong with their menu size either. Plenty of options. Overall this place was amazing and I loved the service, atmosphere, and most importantly the food. Our server was great and on top of drink refills and making sure we didn't need anything else.
