Whiskey Cake - OKC - Oklahoma City

Good service? Yes. Loud, though? Yuppers. (Can't be helped, perhaps, but . . . ) The Fried Chicken Salad is tasty, and the famous Whiskey Cake itself is, well, famous for good reason.

Agree w other comments about atmosphere. Not too wild, not too stuffy, sports but not too sports bar-ish. Had soup, chicken corn chowder. Good, but the description sounded better. Ate it all, but it just didn't have that (something) to make it memorable. Tried to get a little too snazzy with a classic - deviled eggs. Again, good, but this time they went a little too far. But the turducken meat balls...JUST RIGHT! Everything just came together perfectly to make a must-have-again app. Aaron, bartender, was personable and obviously knew his stuff. Overall, very enjoyable.

Atmosphere of this restaurant is fantastic. Have recently just visited during and lunch and dinner hour and both time there had been a decent size crowd. The food was great both time but each time the Crispy Chicken salad did differ so there is some variance of how the food may turn out. The restaurant is clean and open with a nice 'hipster' touch to the decor and even the waiters are wearing suspenders. Definitely will visit again. The Whiskey Cake is a must try, can't leave without trying it.

This is a very unique place. The ambiance is fantastic. The restaurant was open and clean. The staff was friendly. I'd say this could definitely be classified as "trendy" or "urban chic" or "hipster". Locally farmed food is great. My only down thing to say about this place is that they didn't have more chicken dishes. Though the whiskey cake is amazingly good.

What an amazing find....farm to table concept...unusual interesting menu. My 2nd visit here in a week and service and food even better than the 1st time!
