Located conveniently in downtown Oklahoma City, Sweets and Eats offers a no-frills dining experience that attracts a mix of locals and visitors alike. The restaurant is known for its daily Blue Plate Specials featuring comfort foods like fried catfish and roast beef, complemented by an accommodating staff. While some patrons praise the restaurant for its satisfying portions and budget-friendly prices, others note inconsistencies in food quality, mentioning pre-formed dishes and limited sides. Overall, Sweets and Eats remains a solid option for those seeking hearty meals at an affordable price amidst the hustle of downtown.

Not as good as Moms Kitchen !. Working downtown and wanting some home cooking I tried Sweets and Eats Blue Plate Special. There Chicken fried Chicken does not hold a candle to the Chicken Fried Chicken across the street at Moms Kitchen, It was pre formed, I looked at several plates around the dining area, every Chicken fried Chicken was exactly the same shape and size. Just like the ones you buy at Sams Club. There choice of side items is very limited and the mashed potatoes look like the frozen kind! The rolls are definitely the frozen kind. Go across the street to Moms Kitchen if you want Home Cookin with lots of great side items to compliment your meal. The fresh yeast rolls are to die for!

I went for their popular Roast Beef Thursday Blue Plate. It was very delicious. The total bill with a drink was less than and enough food for two. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I would like to come back and try a different special as I've heard their daily dishes are very good. I would definitely recommend the product, portion, and price. This is a no frills type of place in terms of atmosphere and plate presentation. But if style is what you are looking for, there are many options in downtown OKC where you will spend for lunch. But if you want a great meal for a bargain price, Sweets and Eats is sure to impress.

Fantastic eatery in the heart of downtown OKC. Plan according as they are only open Monday-Friday 11 am-1:30 pm. Found this place recently with co-workers and we have been there several times since for lunch. Tons of great options, amazing comfort food and don't forget to ask about their blue plate special which changes daily. I've tried the sandwhiches and soup so far and have not been disappointed. Don't skip out without picking a freshly made dessert, I've had my favoite cookie the snickerdoodle and it was yummy.

We stopped in for a late lunch after arriving in OKC and discovering our Antique joint was closed. We looked up food nearby and were impressed by the vegan, fresh and variety and some good reviews so we popped in after finding street parking. The staff was friendly, service was fast. The food was just okay. Our experience didn't jive with the reviews. I ordered the burger with fries. The bun wasn't brioche just standard white bread, the patty was really small , the fries would have been amazing but they were undercooked. My lady ordered a beef vegetable bowl and said the sauteed veggies felt a little past their prime and the beef was just okay. Cafe 110's website and some of the reviews look stellar, our experience wasn't. Since we're not from there we won't seek it out again, maybe we caught them on a bad day or we were there too late for a solid lunch. Either way, check out the reviews, if you're in downtown OKC for work or for biz you might have a different experience.
