So, if you visit Ristorante Pizzeria La Romantica, I hope you find this review to be accurate and helpful. My wife and I found Pizzeria La Romantica to be a very warm and pleasant experience. In the best good restaurant tradition, our experience was an exceptional one. Not only were we invited to dine, but we were encouraged to relax and enjoy our meal at Ristorante Pizzeria La Romantica. When did this last happened to you?The restaurant is located up a side street just off the main street, which runs along the Rhine River. We were actually looking for a German restaurant when we found this one. We were on a Rhine River Cruise and were docked not far away. Because a very heavy rain had flooded much of Rudesheim, many stores and restaurants had simply closed.Ristorante Pizzeria La Romantica was a surprise find while we were wandering around Rudesheim looking for the German restaurant. After looking at the restaurant menu, as we always do, my wife and I decided we had found our dining spot for the evening. And . . . what a special find it was. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was very warm warm and helpful. In my opinion, you do yourself a great service by finding and enjoying and meal at Ristorante Pizzeria La Romantica if you are in Rudesheim. I wish you the same experience my wife and I were very pleased to enjoy. If you have time, call or stop by and make a reservation. Introduce yourself and say that you were referred. Also, smile and be pleasant. Warmth goes a long way . . . everywhere."

"After mentioning in the guide, the reviews on the Internet and the Falstaff Guide Award, we had expected more! No question: The food tasted as well as the wine; above all projected or in any way special, but both were not. At 19:00 three dishes were sold out. Although it was still early in the evening, we had the feeling that the staff was hired for the evening. The waiter could not go fast enough; we had barely looked at the menu and not yet worked together as he already accepted the order. With great gesture he brought one minute later for each two pieces of gray bread with normal, very hard butter and described it of course great as Amuse-Gaule . Too much good (mostly with a beaten real egg on the grounds! and very touristy. You should not necessarily follow a tip in the guide, but follow your own nose; In this way we found in Oberwesel on the days before a barn and a small wine bar and both very well eaten and also drank an excellent wine. At more civilian prices than in the historical wine industry!"

"The location is superb and the host was nice. I had a flammkuchen, portion was big for the price. It was not bad but a little different from the usual ones that I had elsewhere. If you are looking for enjoying a little traditional town, Bacharach is the place to go to and perhaps sit at this restaurant to savour some delicacies."
