What Nora Montero doesn't like about Herrell's Ice Cream:
I entrusted Herrell's first time today and it was very subdued. We had the No-Moo Vanilla Cookie and it was stringy and tasted like Tapioca. These were not real chocolate chip cookies. We had Sheldon's Ice Cream in Southampton and they're 100 times better. We're staying with Sheldon from now on. read more.

I'm writing this new one to just say, Jake's is the absolute most consistent dining experience I know of, while always managing to have a home cooked quality that most noticeably consistent places lack. They have a fully excellent staff and their food and coziness are unrivaled anywhere nearby. It is literally always worth the wait.
