Definitely get a reservation for weekend evenings! This is a busy hub of activity. The décor is simple (no table cloth) but there are a variety of table shapes (I love the round tables!!), the menu is vast and includes many Eastern styles (Thai, Chinese etc) and the food comes in generous portions, hot and very delicious. Highly suggest the congee, the pad thai and the General Tao Chicken (a bit spicy!!) but almost a... View all feedback.

I came here with a group of 8 for lunch. My friend had made reservations but when I arrived, the server struggled to find the reservation. We ordered a variety of dishes including crispy cantonese chow mein, fried taiwanese vermicelli, fried turnip, diced sirloin in golden bowl, and chicken lettuce wrap. The servers who delivered the food were not the same as the server who took our order. And as the food began to arrive, we had to ask for plates. We also had to actively ask for refills of the hot tea and hot water. One person had asked for coffee which was never delivered. While the restaurant is in a good location and the food was good, the service was quite lacking.
Congee Queen at Centerpoint is a fairly new restaurant among the Congee chain of restaurants in Toronto. Congee Queen offers Chinese food at reasonable prices and value for money. However, Congee's Chinese food is mediocre and quite a different type of cuisine compared to regular Chinese restaurants. They do not serve Haka Chinese. The place was full of Chinese customers and we were the only non-Chinese family. The portions are large for the price you pay and the food is quite tasty, but one has to develop a taste for the cuisine offered by Congee. We liked their Singapore chicken noodles and a dish made with turnips.
The food was very good and the service was quick and courteous. The restaurant gets really busy on weekend dinners. The prices are mid range not too cheap and not that expensive. I would recommend this restaurant. The menu is quite large with lots of variety.
Was invited to dinner with a few friends. I had seen this location before, but never had stopped in.All in all, was a very nice meal, good service and very reasonable prices.I have been back twice since and each time, the food was consistently good and the service was quick, fast and friendly.Overall, I highly recommend this location.
Offer large selection of food, portion all quite big, in general the food taste is ok, the hot and sour soup is not so good. may be that is not their strength.
