On the other hand, there are glowing reviews praising the homey feel, huge pizzas, and attentive hosts. Some enjoy the takeout options, while others appreciate the specials board and unique dishes. What Matthew Price dislikes about Antonio's:
Pizza was an oil swamp, real shame, was massive but wasn't cut, dough was chewy and the meat tasteless... And for a pizza and garlic bread £22 , service was fast and pizzas hot but that's about it View all feedback.

Antonio's is a gem of Portishead. For a long time I fell out of love with pizza after I went to Italy as it was so incredible there. I did not think a humble restaurant in Portishead would fully reignite my love for it. For the quality, freshness, taste and size of what you get here, after trying it, it's madness to me that anyone would go to dominos instead! Antonio's is a family run business and it's authentic. It's now a takeaway but the quality has remained

Owner was very friendly. And most importantly the pizza was great, traditional crispy base, and full of flavour. Great value for money. Would Highly recommend.
