"A friend and I decided to try Oasis by the River for a lazy breakfast while in North Haven. To say it was worth it is an understatement. We both loved the atmosphere, friendly service, and the quality of the food and chef. Top notch. We had the pancakes and coffee and the quantity was more than acceptable. The food was fantastic. The chef told us we wouldn't want lunch and he was right. Talking with the chef was a delight. He seeks out local, good quality ingredients to ensure that the starting point for every dish is excellent produce. This is a dining experience rather than a simple cafe. If you're in the Laurieton/Haven region this is a highlight worth checking out."

"I just wanted to say how lovely it was for our afternoon/lunch at the Little Fish Cafe, thank you to all the friendly staff who made us feel right at home the minute we walked in and who checked on us continually, despite the large crowd that was happily and successfully served as well. WELL DONE Little Fish Cafe!!! We certainly will be back to visit with more friends in tow. Can I also add how lovely the food was. Being a FRENCH restaurant I was not expecting much on my plate, but we were all pleasantly surprised at the large servings and beautifully presented and exquisitely tasting flavours. We very much enjoyed our meal, and next time will only order one Entree again such generous servings. As for desserts, thankfully there were three of us so we could sample three of the dishes, and next time we are bringing more, so we can sample the lot. I'd come again for an afternoon tea with those desserts on the menu. Thank you again to all staff and owners Steve and Angela. You have a sure winner and we of Port Macquarie are blessed to have this on our door step. For anyone looking for an out of the way place, great staff/beautiful people, food, atmosphere, wine tasting, or function of any kind no matter how big or small, then look no further."

"Traveling through Port Macquarie in our Motorhome we needed to grocery shop. Shopped at Coles. We had no problem parking our Motorhome in the shopping centre car park. Shopping done now coffee time what better place than Ruins Cafe. Friendly service, great coffee and paleo banana bread was great."

"Went there 3 nights out of 4 that we were staying in north haven. Steaks were great, cooked beautifully. Chicken Parma was nice. Mediterranean salad was good and the seafood catch for one was not only great to eat it was huge and I struggled to finish it.Friendly patrons and staff. Good prices. Would definitely recommend."
