Reviewers had mixed feelings about the restaurant. Some found the service subpar, with issues like being skipped by the bartender. Others appreciated the ambiance and views. Food quality varied, with one customer enjoying the fried rice, while another found the fried rice soggy. Prices were considered reasonable, with a variety of drink options. Despite some errors with orders, the staff was generally friendly and accommodating. Additionally, the Boba Tea was highly praised. Overall, the restaurant seems to have potential but needs to work on consistency and communication to truly shine.

here are some drinks on the dach. it's over to get some appetizers. all were great. the queen and queen were super tasteful and for the first time seen in a restaurant, their nachos had to be on BOTH layers of chips. View all feedback.

What User dislikes about Tea Cafe On the Corner:
They need to update their computer software so that what you order is what prints out on your ticket! However, their bar is a nice size. Called to speak to general manager, left a number for Brandon to call back, he never returned the call. View all feedback.

Take a picture of your receipt if you?re buying drinks at night. Have received overcharges on my tip amounts. Thankfully I did have pics and got my money returned. Scummy business practice.

I don't know. The space is great. Awesome views of the campus. Fire bowl (lit) torches (lit). It was our first time here so we weren't told where to sit or that we should go to the bar if we ever wanted a drink. After about 10 or 15 minutes of watching the bartenders and other employees eating and talking at the bar we decided to leave without one word being spoken to us.

I want to like this place so badly, because the location is great and so is the patio! But the food is just awful and so is the service. I went today to try their brunch menu and the first thing that put me off was that they have no coffee, despite having several alcoholic brunch drinks on the menu. I then ordered the avocado toast $8), and asked to add an over-medium egg on top additional $1). The waitress had to ask what that meant, so I kindly explained the difference between over-easy, over-medium and over-hard eggs. Although the place was almost empty our food took around 25 minutes to come out. That would have been fine, but everything we ordered was cold. My avocado toast was literally 2 pieces of cold bread with hardly any avocado spread on them at all, and then canned roasted tomatos poured on top. The tomatos were inedible, and to top it all off my egg was cold and way, way over cooked. Our waitress was nice enough but was obviously totally inexperienced, and never even asked how our food was. On my way out I stopped and talked to the new general manager, and she was by far the best thing about this place. She was apologetic and explained that there should be some major changes coming under her new management, and she offered to comp my meal the next time I come in. I will definitely give it another chance in a few months, but for now I have to leave my review at one star.

Service was decent. The food was ok. The place has potential but it seems they are suffering an identity crisis. They need to commit to something. There beer selection seemed random and the waitress was nice but had no clue about the drink selection. The menu needed some refining. The vibe was pretty cool. The view from upstairs was nice. I liked the interior. There was some original art placed randomly around the place, which was cool, but it was mixed with some mass produced posters. They have not found their cohesive identity yet. They have the potential to be some place special, but they need to figure out who they are first.

If I opened a pub in a college town it would be just like this. Great view, good selection of beer, tasty food (Cobb salad is excellent) and very friendly service. Highly recommend.
