**Experiencing Schlotzsky's Edmond: A Mixed Bag** Recent visits to Schlotzsky's Edmond reveal a troubling decline in service and management. Customers report long wait times and inattentive staff, with orders often mishandled. While the aroma of their cinnamon rolls remains enticing, encounters with employees distracted by personal devices lead to awkward moments and delays. Additionally, recent changes—such as altered dine-in hours and the removal of drafts—have created confusion among patrons. For loyal customers, these challenges have led to disappointment, overshadowing the delicious offerings that once drew them in. It appears that significant improvements are needed for this location to regain its former charm.

I have frequently ordered lunch from this restaurant over the phone since the COVID outbreak. However, my most recent experience was disappointing as they got my order wrong with the wrong sandwich and there were no chips in the bag. These were pretty significant mistakes.

"I enjoy visiting Schlotzsky's for a good meal, but unfortunately, this particular location did not meet my expectations. I arrived at 8 pm on a Friday to find the lights on, but the doors locked. This is not a good sign for their business and shows a need for improved management."

We have ordered online twice now for a quick pick-up experience at this restaurant.

Popped by on the way home from work to grab a Cinnabon to go so I could satisfy a craving, but it wound up being a bit of an adventure. The only other customers were an elderly couple who were wrapping up their meal, and the only employee I could seewas at the drive through window swiping on his phone with his AirPods in. A couple of ?excuse me?s went unnoticed, so I leanedagainst the counter and waited. After about a minute, another employee came out from the back and walked past me, somehowwithout noticing. He grabbed a cup and was heading back into the back room when he saw me, at which point he stopped, turned toface me, and stared. I stared back for about five seconds (not wanting to ruin the moment we were evidently having) beforewaving and saying hi, which broke whatever trance I mistakenly had him under. He turned to the drive through guy who I?ll callDTG and pointed me out, then returned to the back. DTG took my order and put my cinnamon roll into a box, then anotheremployee came from the back and asked for help turning on one of those big conveyor belt fed toaster ovens. I watched withdespair as DTG walked right past the pick up counter at which I was eagerly awaiting and into the back (still visible from thefront counter), where he set down my box and walked his coworker through whatever process she needed help with. After 2 3minutes of that, DTG picked up my box and dropped it in a paper bag with some utensils. He was back en route to the pick upcounter when his coworker asked another question about the oven, which led to another delay while he returned to the back toexplain the answer. Finally, he made it to the counter and passed it off with what I?ll admit was a very genuine sounding?thank you, have a great evening?. Unfortunately, he did have one last trick left to pull on me when I pulled my cinnamon rollout to enjoy the only utensils he?d given me were spoons. At least the cinnamon roll was as delicious as I?d hoped.
