"What a delightful discovery!! Never judge a book by it's cover. There weren't many choices on the holiday evening we were there and expectations were not over the top. We didn't share a large variety of dishes but this unpretentious eatery put out one of...the best Chinese meals my well-travelled companion had had in a very long time. Dry ribs were meaty, crisp outside yet moist. Mixed veggies were top quality and done to perfection and the chow mien sauce was excellent. Service was attentive. We will be back to try out more."

"We made a stop at this restaurant for take-out lunch during our road trip to Thunder Bay back in summer 2020. I kept telling myself to write a review for them when I got back home but ended up forgetting until now when I am about to make another long road trip. This restaurant was pretty decent given the location. They gave big portion, and the owner was quite friendly. To us, their food definitely helped with our cravings for Chinese cuisine after many days of backcountry camping between Michipicoten and Thunder Bay."

The first thing that struck me about this place was the warm and inviting atmosphere. As soon as I entered, I was greeted by the sweetest lady at the cash register, whose genuine kindness and care reminded me of the good old days. In a world often plagued by craziness, it was refreshing to encounter someone who hadn't been spoiled by the current waves of indifference. Now, let's talk about the food! To say that their breakfast was reminiscent of a 5-star hotel meal would be an understatement. The aroma alone was enough to entice my senses, and each bite was a delight to my taste buds. From the perfectly cooked eggs and delicate botatos, every dish was crafted with impeccable precision and served with a touch of love. It was evident that the owner's commitment to excellence extended to every aspect of their establishment. What truly sets this restaurant apart, though, is the unwavering support it provided to the truck drivers. While other gas stations shut their doors on these hardworking individuals, this incredible owner recognized their importance and made sure they were well taken care of. By keeping the facility open, they offered a haven where weary drivers could refuel, enjoy a delicious meal, and find solace during these trying times. To the owner, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you. Your selflessness and compassion have not gone unnoticed. You have shown us all what it truly means to be a pillar of the community. "This place will do for the night if you don't have another option, as it is clean, but the bed needs to be replaced in cabin 5-sagged towards the middle. I thought we might have a nice view, judging from the online picture, but our view was a back alley. Nice to have a stove to cook breakfast on and lots of dishes."
