By far, best and freshest food. Broad selection of choices with room for gluten free, sugar free and vegetarian diets. They constantly keep clean, refreshed and replenished all platters and food stations. Even their coffee is hot and good, to finish the meal. Upbeat, pleasant staff. Very good value for the money. What Paul M doesn't like about Market Buffet:
Very high prices for unsavoury food! Very disappointing place to take my daughter to for a meal! I was actually embarrassed for taking her to this place for a meal! She was not impressed at all with the food she had and I definitely won’t take her there again! Definitely not worth the money that they charge for the Buffet! The large increase of the Buffet is not justified by the food served here! Avoid eating here be... View all feedback.
Reasonably priced at $20 for buffet which includes non-alcoholic drinks! Loved the food and all the choices. Must try the roast beef! I'm generally not a huge fan but kept going back for more! And the deserts were great! This became my new favourite for dinner while in Niagara Falls! I will stick with The Grand Buffet at the other casino for breakfast though as I understand that Market doesn't open till 11am for breakfast and it's not buffet. I am okay with ordering off the menu but 11am is to late for me when I want to get the day going!
We went to the 2 for 1 breakfast, as a players promotion for the first time. We waited for a while to be served, although the waitress had said she would be with us shortly, and was OK with this. We placed our order, both were scrambled eggs, bacon and one with rye bread and the other with whole wheat toast. We waited for 30 minutes and no food, mean while other people had arrived and been served and received food quickly. We finally mentioned it to another server and he checked and said would be up shortly, and when they came the food order was not correct. We realized that our order was never placed, so the waiter came by and said no charge. Very disappointed in the service and very surprised as we have had the dinner buffet and were always pleased.
My last visit here was my last visit... while waiting for pizza to come out, I saw 2 mice running around behind the counter. I brought it to the attention of the manager, and she gave me attitude! "Oh that's happens everywhere! Don't make such a fuss!!! I said, No, that's not normal, nor is it clean." Food is usually dried up. Roast beef is like shoe leather. Salads are well aged and brown. No pride here at all.
This is probably an unpopular opinion but I just didn't like it. Maybe we went at a bad time but it just wasn't a great experience. First of all, almost all the plates I went to grab were still dirty. I'm pretty sure they just using a steaming washing machine and don't bother scraping off the food. That turned me off immensely. Second, I just found the food wasn't that fresh and they didn't have that great of a variety. The buffet at Fallsview has much more of a variety and the food quality is better. Last, the servers weren't that great. They seemed to talk to each other more than the customers. At Fallsview they always seem to be busy where as here they were just talking to each other. Due to all of this I think I would rather go back to Fallsview.
