I had been hearing rave reviews about the country fresh donuts and their soup for a while now, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the won ton soup and a long John donut, and both were fantastic. The soup was rich and flavorful, packed with meat and won tons. The donut was freshly made, chewy, and delicious.
This is the go-to spot for my favorite donuts, sugar twist. They offer a variety of delicious donut flavors to choose from. The best time to visit is between 10am-noon when the shelves are fully stocked. The customer service is efficient and quick due to how busy they are, so it's best to know what you want before approaching the counter. However, they are always happy to help answer any questions you may have. There are 9 parking spots available behind the small building, as well as street parking options. The wonton soup is also highly recommended.
During our time in Niagara, my husband was on the search for delicious donuts and came across this restaurant. It was our first visit, and we were already impressed! The donuts were incredibly soft and tasty - some of the best I've ever had. The butternut nutmeg donut in particular stood out to me, reminding me of Dunkin' Donuts but even better. We also tried the wonton soup, which was quite tasty as well.
Amazing local joint for fresh donuts and wonton soup. After walking by and seeing the sign, we looked at the reviews on Google and to our surprise, people only had good things to say so we knew we had to give it a try! Wonton soup and donuts forbreakfast? Why not! The plain donut and the glazed cake donut were light, not wildly sweet and did not leave that weird greasyaftertaste as some cake donuts can. The chocolate chip muffin was freshly baked with a beautiful muffin top and a good quantityof chocolate chips throughout. The wonton soup was very comforting. Being from California, it?s not the best I?ve ever had sincethis place adds in soy sauce, probably to suit a more Western taste, but it was still tasty and satisfying. The service wassuper friendly as well. You can tell that this is a well-loved neighborhood shop. Highly recommend!
Been wanting to try this place and so happy I did. It was so retro inside but very clean. The owner was so sweet! Wonton soup was delicious (lot?s of pork and dumplings) and the donuts were fresh. Loved the old fashioned, toasted coconut, and sugartwist. Will visit again for sure! Cash only.
