This is a great hotel We called on short notice and spoke with (sp?) Kaylie, who was so helpful She found us a room with our two little dogs.
We had to go to a couple different places on our mini vacation in September because everything was full.

"The food was excellent. We had the Lasagna and Rigatoni alla Vodka with sausage. Apps we had meatballs and zucchini something. Both excellent. Great service and atmosphere. Reason for only 4 stars... No bread served with your meal. First Italian restaurant I've ever eaten at that I didn't get bread. But... I would eat here again. "This was really one of the most incredible meal times I've ever had the pleasure of consumption. I couldn't be happy anymore. my expectations have been exceeded! I loved it! I'm not gonna get it until the day I leave. "Excellent from all angles. Wanted a nice meal for a day trip style date and got exactly that. Was able to get a table out on their deck which is literally on the bay which provided us front row seats to the goofy show the sea lions were putting on while they lounged in the sun on the pier. We were disappointed after visiting the Sea Lion caves recently and not seeing a single Sea Lion so this was an added bonus! Good selection of beer/cider, outstanding appetizers, (The mushroom risotto balls are the bees knees! and the food was great. Service staff does a really good job of being there right when you want them and no more than that. Drinks never got less than half full. It's clear why this restaurant got voted the best waterfront dining on the Oregon Coast and the best restaurant in Newport. Will be returning! *Walk-ins are welcome but reservations are recommended. I've tried and failed twice before to eat here without a reservation for dinner. Lunch is a little easier to get a spot if you don't have reservations."

"Quick and friendly service. Don't visit very often, but have yet to have a bad experience. The restaurant was always clean prior to the pandemic. It would be nice if the dining room reopened as others across the coast have, but we're left to believe they still keep it clean in there."

"That had to be the least aesthetically pleasing sushi I’ve ever had. The salmon and tuna were hardly recognizable. Did you run it through a blender before you served it? Lol. We recognized the sound of an insta-pot working on the back ground too, kinda funny but unexpected. Our server was incredibly nice and helpful. Our food tasted alright and we didn’t get sick. "Well well my place of choice for any of your coffee needs. As well as coffee it has a friendly funny and pretty staff of kind caring ladies. Pastries jewelry hats etc its like and outlet store that serves coffee. I recommend anyone who is either going through Depoe Bay to stop by and say ho to the staff grab a hot or chlled coffee and go look out for the Whales. Or walk around the fine ocean outlet stores. Look for the Pirate at the front door !"
