Feedback

★ 4.1 / 5 from 823 reviews

The mansion restaurant has received mixed reviews, with some customers praising the service and ambiance while others were disappointed by the slow service, limited menu, and overpriced food. The positive reviews highlight the delicious food, beautiful atmosphere, and excellent service provided by knowledgeable staff members. However, complaints were made about slow service, lack of vegetarian options, and high prices for drinks. Despite the mixed feedback, the restaurant shows potential to become a top dining destination in Newport once renovations are complete.

The lunch menu at this restaurant was not your typical fare, with mostly salads and appetizers, along with a fish dish and a burger option. Though the small portion sizes didn't bother me, I struggled to see the value in paying $19 for a cup of soup. The restaurant was relatively empty, creating a tranquil atmosphere. Although the service was top-notch and friendly, it wasn't enough to entice me to return.

I had an exceptional dining experience at this restaurant. It stood out in every category, from the atmosphere and customer service to the quality of the food and drinks. Outstanding.

We had a dinner reservation at 8:30 in the garden. The staff was amazing as soon as we got there. The restaurant is incredibly beautiful. Our waiter, Paublo, was a charming young man who was very knowledgeable about The Vanderbilt. The food was tasty and the garden setting was lovely. The only downside was that there was a nearby table with two small dogs that barked throughout dinner. Personally, I feel that dogs should not be allowed at upscale dining establishments.

Service slow and limited menu and no substitutions. at the price they should serve at least maic kartoffels instead of French pommes with filet and bad salat. recommend them music outside.
