The Squires Maiden - Newcastle

Absolutely fantastic customer service from ALL staff. Lovely atmosphere, great selection of food and drinks with daily and weekly specials. Portions were massive, food tasted fantastic and was served very quickly. All very reasonably priced and takeaway containers available upon request.

So many choices on the menu here that it took us awhile to make a decision on dinner! We ordered a starter of sweet potato fries , then a Super Grain Couscous salad , a Sweet Sticky Pork belly a Veggie Pizza My goodness, everything was amazing!! That pork though deeeeelicious!!!! It was only a small gesture, but the bartender impressed me by taking a moment to check the glass he was about to pour my wine into, his friendly smile Loved that there is the option to sit indoors or out. The decor is clean lined eclectic suitable for groups, families but also corners for couples. My only tiny concern was that conversation was tricky as the music was a bit loud.

Veggie pizza, and multi-grain couscous was amazing!! We could 've done with one or the other (for portions sake) but sure glad we didn 't.

Harbourside location although the restaurant opposite blocks 80% of the harbour views. Indoor/outdoor seating, good place to grab a few beers with decent food.
