we came to yerba buena for a fun brunch and it was not disappointed! big unlimited brunch drink deal $16 dollar for fun brunch cocktails.) delicious latin inspired brunch food with a reasonable price. beautiful service they wanted to definitely have a good time and let the drinks and smiles come. there was a fun juvenile crowd and good Latin pop-hip-hop music playing, but there wasn't an aggressive 'brunch club' vibe... Waited on over an hour for a reservation we made but the restaurant "forgot" to log (even though we confirmed on the phone prior twice).
Fish tacos (4 stars): served with a tasty red cabbage slaw. While the slaw stood out as the highlight of the dish, it complemented the fish tacos perfectly.
It had been a few years since my last visit to Zocalo, but it was just as good as I remembered. Some classic favorites were still on the menu, but there were also some new dishes that did not disappoint. This menu stands out among the many choices in Charlottesville, offering unique and exciting options. I enjoyed a perfectly cooked duck breast with a delicious sauce, braised chard, and an onion manchego bread pudding. My wife loved her salmon dish. The tuna tartare starter was heavenly with a nice spicy kick. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Excellent as always! Tuna starter is always a must!
