We went for Afternoon High Tea. This was our first time at the Russian Tea Room. The ambiance was beautiful! I canât say the same for service or the food. The bread used for the finger sandwiches seemed dry. The scones were delicious, as were the chocolates, though the cupcakes were a little dry. The Russian Tea Room is a must-visit classic establishment, although I wish the food had been better. It was good, but I was hoping for something great. We made reservations for an anniversary dinner. Ruth's Chris doesn't disappoint. Food was great, service was awesome and the ambiance was nice. This was a first visit to this location on LaCantera Parkway. Downside was my vehicle being broke into and ruining the rest of our evening plans. Signs said surveyed by camera - no necessarily true. The buildings are surveyed. Of course, not really the fault of Ruth's Chris but waiting an hour to report it since we live just outside SA was definitely a downer. Next time - UBER for sure.

This was most of our party's first time at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. It was a wonderful dining experience, especially for a special occasion. The service was excellent, and the food was wonderful.

Good experience. Only major complaint was my steak sandwich was cooked a little too long for my taste. I chose not to send it back, but they would have redone it no problem.
