Java Jazz Cafe & Bistro

Loved coming to Java Jazz because of its unique live jazz band, open mike nights. Host Salve is so welcoming, and the band are so inviting, one can just let loose of their inhibitions, and gather up the courage to sing live!!!Java Jazz has a unique take on Filipino food, I think we just found a new favourite restaurant to visit - even if we have to drive a good 25 minutes to get here.Highly recommended!

Since finding this place several years ago it has become a regular place to visit , for the music and the food. It has a life and excitement like few other places i go to. It deserves a wider following

We have been frequenting this Bistro for the last couple of years.We have taken friends there and they have also loved the music.We were celebrating a Milestone Birthday (both my husband and myself) last year.Our children wanted to commemorate this occasion with a party at a Hotel in downtown Vancouver.We wanted to celebrate at the Java Jazz Bistro. Our three sons were aghast! "(What? This little place in New Westminster).! Our daughter could see the possibility.We booked 2 Sundays in December to have our "Family Christmas Party." We had a guest list of over 100 people. Java Jazz has a capacity of about 60.persons.JJ supplied a buffet for us, but we were able to supplement the menu with some appies, birthday cake and a fewhomemade desserts.We had caroling, dancing, entertainment and other festivities.Our sons had to admit that the parties were excellent and that Mom and Dad were right as usual!!!We had many positive comments from our guests and they were very happy that they discovered this Bistrothrough our party and were wanting to return in the new year for more music.Ron and Lori

I found this little bistro a few years back it has become my home away from home. There is nothing like it in the lower mainland or beyond in my opinion. Cozy little hide away with loads of charm and friendly atmosphere. There is live music on weekends that brings in the best singers and players. Great food, affordable prices, .The owners are seasoned professionals with many connections you never know who might drop in to sing and that is the fun of it. Highly recommended.
