Mulate's, a Cajun restaurant located near the Hilton Riverside, offers a delicious dining experience with a touch of old-time charm. The seafood dishes are particularly impressive, with fresh ingredients that make a noticeable difference in taste. Grilled oysters, fish, and red beans and rice receive high praise from diners. The restaurant's ambience, attentive wait staff, and live music contribute to a memorable visit. While prices may be a bit high, the quality of the food and service make it worth it. Overall, Mulate's is a must-visit spot for those looking for an authentic Cajun meal in New Orleans.

Fantastic dinner at Mulate's. Went in with a group and got a variety of foods and all was superb. The cornbread and whipped honey butter are an absolute must. The grilled gator bites as well, simply fantastic and so well seasoned and tender! Catfish and shrimp were perfectly fried, and the Caesar salad was delicious. They had live music going when we came in on Friday night. It was during the Final 4 so it was like a 45 min wait for a table but definitely worth it. Would recommend and would return happily!

Stopped here for a final meal before going to the airport. The appetizer was cornbread which was quite appealing. My entree was fried seafood platter consisted of catfish and shrimp. I needed one last taste of cajun before leaving town and this spot did not disappoint.
