Was Jen at Deanie's Seafood a mag?
So good. My husband and I shared the chargrilled oysters, gumbo, stuffed shrimp, and soft shell crab. The food was amazing. We came based on the recommendation of a friend; now we're sharing it with everyone else. Very good! View all feedback.

What David Kenmuir dislikes about Deanie's Seafood:
Was it worth the wait? Absolutely not. We waited 1 hour and 40 minutes. Was it really that amazing? Not at all. The food was just fried. Instead of informing the crowd waiting to be seated that they were out of oysters—the main reason we came—they let us know only after we were seated. At that point, nearly 9 PM, who’s really going to walk out? On a positive note, the Bloody Mary was good. View all feedback.

This is my new favorite po boy place! It's a sit down restaurant with a variety of seafood.

I would give this place 3.5 if I could go up a little.

Brian really enjoyed his fried shrimp po-boy, and I had the pleasure of trying the fried onion rings along with fried clams, shrimp, and catfish, all made with gluten-free batter. The staff at the Magazine Street location were friendly and very helpful.
