Been coming to New Orleans since the early 70s and always try and stop at this restaurant. Love it for location right across from Jackson Square. Good food I?ll let my pictures do the talking. read more.

What Laura Lopez doesn't like about Cafe Pontalba:
I would not recommend it. I had the Caesar Shrimp Salad. My husband had a Shrimp Pasta. Both were very small servings. The salad was a little large than a side salad. The pasta dish was small. A piece of bread on the side would have been nice. The crab cakes were not fresh. The meal was overpriced and not worth it. You don't mind paying for a good meal. This certainly wasn't good. read more.
