I would highly recommend visiting this place. The service was amazing. Our server was the friendliest little ray of sunshine we could have asked for. The menu was... View all feedback.
Stopping on our way back to Halifax we wanted a "Pub Lunch", so stopped in New Glasgow to try the Dock. It is in a beautiful old building and decorated as an Irish style pub. Although serving lots of good beer including some nice local craft beers. There was lots of Irish style decorations, but the menu was mostly ordinary pub food - nothing really Irish. I think you could get a Guinness, but I elected to try a local beer. The food was good, but the helpings were actually smaller than usual pub food, but for us we did not need a large meal and left happy and full. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The place has a nice atmosphere and the decor is welcoming in an "Irish Pub" way.
We had a fantastic lunch at this Irish pub. Wonderful fish and chips and great beer selection. Also have a rooftop patio.
We were passing through and stopped here for lunch. When we got there we didn't know where to park. We went passed the restaurant and to a set of lights where there was an inpaved lot. We parked there reluctantly. We went up on the rooftop as it was a lovely day. We both had burgers and they were so tasty. The waitress was friendly and the prices were reasonable.
Staff was very nice and accommodating. The fish and chips and beer were fantastic. We sat on the deck upstairs which was fantastic but a bit warm with no available shade.
We went for drinks and snacks. The atmosphere was so like a pub in Ireland or Scotland and the exterior of the building is what a pub should look like. Though there were only 2 servers, they did a great job of handling the full crowd. The beers that I had were recommended by our server and were local, delicious, and cold. I enjoyed the wings and a seafood chowder and would recommend them. My wife went for Nachos (in an Irish pub?) and was somewhat disappointed. Go figure.
